The “Violation of Sovereignty” Strategy in the Speech of Sayyid Abdul-Malik al-Houthi: Dismantling the Zionist Path to Imposing Absolute Hegemony

Sayyid Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi identifies the “equation of violation of sovereignty” as the most dangerous structural threat facing the nation. It is a strategy that transcends traditional military action, aiming instead to “normalize crime” in the collective consciousness. The leader believes that the Zionist-American objective is to transform daily massacres into a “familiar way of life,” leading to the paralysis of collective will and turning people into “spectators.” This state of psychological alienation paves the way for the control of any Arab or Islamic capital without political or moral cost, as the “blame” is shifted from the aggressor to the resistance fighter who breaks the routine of silence.

According to the leadership’s analysis, the strategy of violation of sovereignty is a project to “zero out” the sovereignty of the entire region. By stripping away the sanctity of blood, land, and holy sites, the enemy seeks to impose a reality in which “force” is the sole source of legitimacy. This path does not target Palestine alone; rather, it is a comprehensive plan to subjugate the nation, plunder its resources, and transform it into an open space for Zionist projects. Hence, exposing this “malice and brutality” emerges as an existential front, aiming to prevent the nation from falling into the trap of becoming accustomed to humiliation and to restore the effectiveness of both popular and official stances in confronting this criminal expansion.

Gaza and the West Bank: Identity Annihilation and the Enshrinement of the “Law of the Jungle”

The equation of impunity in Gaza was translated into 17 months of genocide, with medical and field reports documenting the martyrdom and injury of more than 5% of the Strip’s population. The use of carpet bombing and heavy artillery was not intended to achieve a “military victory” but rather to impose a reality of “daily, routine killing,” which the Leader warned against as a “catastrophe” aimed at conditioning the nation’s consciousness to accept scenes of death as an inevitable fate that does not require action.

The enemy reinforced its impunity by establishing a system of torture for Palestinian prisoners and enacting the “death penalty law,” in parallel with employing “traitors and collaborators” to create security breaches within the popular base. The Zionist action here aims to disarm those defending their land while arming “criminal gangs” to tear apart the social fabric from within. The desired outcome is to transform Gaza into a human laboratory where Palestinians are denied the right to defend themselves, while the siege continues as a tool of slow killing.

In the West Bank, the enemy has declared its repudiation of the Oslo Accords and all international obligations, replacing them with a free hand for settler gangs. Field data has recorded a 300% increase in armed settler attacks, aimed at displacing villagers (silent ethnic cleansing). This aggression seeks to annex the West Bank permanently by arming more than 100,000 new settlers, while criminalizing any Palestinian attempt to defend themselves or their property.

The enemy crowned its aggression by targeting Al-Aqsa Mosque and attempting to erase its Islamic features, relying on the Arab world’s inaction. The Zionist action here transcends geography, extending to the desecration of holy sites to impose absolute spiritual and material sovereignty. The direct result of this inaction is enabling the Zionist entity to transform Al-Aqsa Mosque into a site for daily incursions, thus entrenching a new geographical and religious reality that ends the Palestinian Islamic presence in Jerusalem, in line with the comprehensive plan for a decisive takeover.

The “audacity” of regional targeting: poisoning farms and violating sovereignty

This violation extends to Lebanon and Syria, where the Supreme Leader documented the incident of “spraying farms with toxic pesticides” in southern Lebanon as evidence of “the height of audacity.” This act did not target the resistance’s weapons but rather the “food and environmental security” of civilians. The desired outcome is to render the land uninhabitable and impose economic hardship on the population. This Zionist audacity aims to impose a new equation in which Lebanon is completely vulnerable; the resistance is demanded to disarm while the enemy arms its “occupiers” and supplies them with all means of killing and destruction.

In Syria, Zionist air attacks continued, exploiting the absence of a deterrent response from the controlling groups there, which reinforced the enemy’s conviction that Arab airspace is an “open space” for its operations. The Leader believes that this regional focus, particularly on the Islamic Republic of Iran, stems from its being the “first real obstacle” to the project of “total subjugation.” The steadfast Iranian stance, both leadership and people, has shattered the aura of Zionist exceptionalism and delivered a strategic message: that popular and official unity is the only guarantee for thwarting plans for “absolute control” over the peoples of the region.

The ultimate goal of this aggression is to subjugate the region to the will of the “American-Israeli” project, causing countries to lose their independence and sovereignty and their resources to be diverted to the benefit of the Zionist entity. The violations in Lebanon and Syria are a test of the nation’s tolerance for repeated humiliations; the burning of farms and the targeting of Syrian cities are messages of intimidation aimed at imposing a state of “voluntary submission.” Rejecting this equation, as the Leader emphasizes, is based on preserving the remaining “fragment of human dignity,” which necessitates confronting all forms of subservience and preventing the transformation of the region into a Zionist fiefdom.

“Energy Piracy” and Dependence: The Great American Deception

In a meticulous economic analysis, the Leader links military aggression to “American piracy” of global energy resources. American control over Venezuelan oil aims to secure “alternative sources” that will make Washington independent of the region’s oil, thus transforming the US from a “commercial ally” into a “direct competitor” that sells its plundered oil to China and India. The result is the stripping of the region’s countries (the petrodollar states) of their most important geopolitical assets, leaving them exposed to Zionist ambitions without any real protection from their American “partner,” who is solely pursuing his own selfish interests.

This strategic shift renders the region, with its resources and wealth, completely vulnerable to exploitation by the enemy entity. The US today no longer cares about the stability of its “allies” in the region as long as it secures energy alternatives; rather, it seeks to transform the region’s reality into one of subservience.
