Hamas Spokesperson: Peace Council must compel Israeli enemy to implement ceasefire agreement
The spokesperson for the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), Hazem Qassem, stated that “the real test of what the leaders announced at the Peace Council meeting in terms of positions and decisions is their ability to compel the Israeli enemy to halt its violations of the ceasefire.”
Qassem emphasized in a press statement today, Thursday, the necessity for the Peace Council to ensure that the enemy fulfills its obligations, initiates a genuine relief process, and begins reconstruction operations, according to the Palestinian Sawa Agency.
He pointed out that the experience of recent months since the ceasefire came into effect confirms that the enemy does not pay attention to such positions unless they are accompanied by real pressure.
