Palestinian Factions Condemn “PA Security” Crime of Killing Two Children and Pursuing Resistance Fighters

Palestinian factions and components have condemned and rejected the action of the security forces of the so-called Palestinian National Authority in killing two children while pursuing a fighter resisting the Israeli occupation. This crime aligns the Authority with the crimes of the Israeli enemy and shares in the spilling of Palestinian blood.

Moreover, it demonstrates the Authority’s deepening transformation into a policeman protecting the Israeli enemy through a clear treasonous action, by pursuing resistance fighters and treating them as criminals. This dangerous overstep involves opening fire on them during pursuit, without any consideration for the enormity of this crime, through which this Authority has further steeped itself in the blood of its people.

On Sunday, Authority security forces killed the two children, Yazan Samara and his three-year-old sister, in Tamoun while pursuing their father, Samer Samara, who is wanted by the Zionist enemy. This occurred after directly firing on the vehicle they were traveling in on Monday. The father was also arrested.

To Appease the Zionist Enemy

The Resistance Committees in Palestine stated in a press statement that this heinous and dangerous crime is a natural result of the rejected criminal policy of pursuing fighters and mujahideen in the West Bank to appease the Zionist enemy.

They demanded accountability for the criminals who executed the murder of the two children, calling for an immediate halt to the pursuit of resistance fighters and the release of all political detainees.

The committees declared “our full solidarity with the pursued fighter, Samer Samara, and his family,” calling on “all components of the Palestinian people in the West Bank to condemn and denounce this heinous crime.”

Security Coordination

The Palestinian Mujahideen Movement also strongly denounced this crime.

The movement said in a statement that the continued pursuit and chasing of resistance fighters by the Palestinian Authority’s security apparatuses aligns with the goals of the Zionist enemy to eliminate the resistance and represents an insistence on proceeding with the path of futile security coordination.

It demanded immediate accountability for those who committed this crime, and also called on the Palestinian Authority and its security forces to stop the security pursuit of fighters and all forms of political detention rejected by the national consensus.

The Mujahideen Movement affirmed that what is required today is to strengthen the steadfastness of the Palestinian people and consolidate their resistance against the Zionist schemes targeting the West Bank and its people.

It called on all forces and factions of the Palestinian people to take a unified stance regarding these irresponsible actions by the Palestinian Authority’s security apparatuses.

Subservience to the Zionist Enemy

Similarly, the Palestinian Al-Ahrar Movement condemned in the strongest terms this heinous crime committed by the Palestinian Authority’s security forces in killing the two children, Yazan Samara and his three-year-old sister, in Tamoun in the occupied West Bank.

The movement denounced in a press statement “the extent of the fall in the culture of these apparatuses, to the point where they make the children of the Palestinian people a legitimate target to satisfy the enemy’s desires in chasing resistance men, in order to preserve the chairs of the leaders of these apparatuses and maintain security coordination.”

It stated that what the Palestinian Authority’s security forces committed, by opening fire on the fighter Samer Samara and his family, is an inevitable result of their subservience to the Zionist enemy, as they are a tool for execution, making them a partner with the enemy in its crimes against the Palestinian people, and a green light to continue the genocide, land confiscation in the West Bank, and the Judaization of Jerusalem.

The movement held the Palestinian Authority leadership fully responsible for the life of the fighter Samer Samara, demanding the disclosure of his fate, his immediate release, and the prosecution of the perpetrators.

Al-Ahrar called on national and Islamic forces, and all components of the Palestinian people, to take a firm stand against the encroachment and recklessness of the Palestinian Authority’s security apparatuses, their persistence in crimes against the Palestinian people through political arrests, the pursuit of fighters, implementing the Zionist enemy’s agenda, and deepening national division.

Violation of National Norms

The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine also affirmed that “the action of elements from the Authority’s security forces in opening fire on a vehi
