Hezbollah: Aggression Against Iran a Failed Attempt to Break Its Will

Hezbollah condemned the American-Israeli aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran, asserting that the attack reflects the continuation of an arrogant and domineering approach aimed at imposing hegemony on the region.

In a statement issued by its media relations office, the party emphasized that the recent attack is not related to the Iranian nuclear program, as the aggressors claim, but rather targets the existence of a strong and independent state that refuses to be subservient to the American system and adheres to its sovereign decision-making and its support for the causes of the nation, foremost among them the Palestinian cause.

The statement clarified that the Islamic Republic represents a pillar of support for free and oppressed peoples and stands as an impenetrable barrier against American-Zionist schemes. It pointed out that the enemies seek to weaken the region by fragmenting its entities and subjecting them to projects of occupation and colonialism.

Hezbollah affirmed that the aggression will not succeed in breaking Iran’s will or deterring it from its positions; rather, it will only increase its strength and resilience. The party praised the steadfastness of the Iranian people, who have proven throughout decades of siege and threats that they are unyielding and will not surrender.

In closing, the party declared its full solidarity with the Islamic Republic, both its leadership and people, calling on the countries and peoples of the region to recognize the seriousness of the aggressive plan and to take action to confront it, stressing that the American and Israeli enemies will receive strong blows and will reap nothing but failure.
