Abu Ubaida: The Resistance in Lebanon Strikes Deep Within the Zionist Entity and Exposes Its Fragility

Abu Ubaida, the spokesperson for the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), praised the Lebanese resistance on Sunday for confronting the Israeli enemy’s attacks on Lebanon and striking deep within the Zionist entity with qualitative operations.

In a statement published by the Brigades, Abu Ubaida said, “We commend the heroic actions of the Islamic Resistance fighters in Lebanon, who confronted the Zionist aggressor forces and inflicted heavy losses upon them, as well as striking strategic targets deep within the entity.”

He added, “We stand firmly with the resistance fighters as they exercise their right to defend their land and the sovereignty of their nation in the face of the aggression that has not ceased for a single moment against Lebanon.”

He continued: “We offer our condolences to the families of the martyrs of our brotherly Lebanon, and we pray for the speedy recovery of its wounded and the safety of all its people. We also remember in this context the late Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, who made a moral and courageous decision to stand with Gaza and its people, and who sacrificed his life, along with many of his brothers, on the path to Jerusalem.”

The Qassam Brigades spokesperson called on “the peoples of our nation to unite and stand as one against the schemes of the Zionist enemy and its sinister intentions to expand its aggression to encompass more Arab and Islamic countries, as it no longer conceals its ambitions to establish what it calls Greater Israel.”

The operations of the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon have escalated in response to the intensification of Israeli aggression against Lebanon, coinciding with the aggression launched by America and the Zionist entity against Iran.
