An Egyptian researcher reveals Iran’s most dangerous weapon… and why it hasn’t been used yet?

A security expert addressed the question posed by some: Has Iran destroyed the American bases in the Middle East as it claimed? Were they completely destroyed in the Middle East?

Researcher and security expert Sameh Askar stated that answering these questions requires a practical approach:

Firstly, these bases are not merely American offensive weapons, but rather an integrated defense network encompassing radars, espionage and jamming equipment, electronic warfare capabilities, and intelligence systems, among others. He pointed out that these bases were what protected Israel from Iranian missiles in the past.

He explained: When a missile is launched from Iran, these bases immediately send a signal to Israel, along with the missile’s data, trajectory, and impact coordinates, etc. The Israeli air defense then launches its missile based solely on the radar’s data. This process was responsible for intercepting most Iranian missiles in the past.

Secondly: Since the destruction of these bases and radars began, the weakness of Israeli air defenses has been noticeable. They are no longer able to repel the Iranian attack as they did during the first three days.

To further clarify, researcher Askar reviewed Iranian capabilities and their missile arsenal, stating that Iran possesses three generations of missiles in terms of power:

1- The (Shahab + Qiam + Fateh + Zelzal) series: These are the weakest Iranian missile systems. Their range, warheads, speed, and simple technology make them easy for Israel to shoot down. It is likely that Iran did not use them to strike Israel, but rather to deplete its stockpiles at American bases in the Gulf due to the proximity. This is because Iran manufactured a massive number of them, tens of thousands, and wanted to get rid of them, killing two birds with one stone: eliminating an old missile stockpile to modernize it, and exhausting American and Arab air defenses. In any case, if 25% of these missiles were to reach Israel, it would cause significant damage to the bases (which is what actually happened).

2- The (Khaibarshiken + Qadr + Emad) series: These are powerful missiles, more advanced than the previous generation. Previously, Iran used it to strike Israel. Its speed reaches Mach 10, and its warhead weighs between half a ton and 750 kg. However, due to the presence of American radars in the Gulf, it was easier to detect, intercept, and reduce its effectiveness with early warning approximately 15 minutes before impact.

These missiles, which Iran used to strike Israel in the past, have a speed of up to Mach 10 and a warhead weighing between half a ton and 750 kg. Askar confirmed that early warning time in the occupied territories has already dropped to less than a minute, and sometimes even to zero. He stated that this is evidence that the destruction of American bases in the Gulf has indeed affected Israel’s ability to intercept these missiles. He added that Iran’s stockpile of these missiles appears enormous, as dozens are launched daily, causing widespread destruction.

He explained that the Revolutionary Guard is currently targeting Israel with this group of missiles, especially since they all possess fragmentation capabilities and cluster munitions, as seen in the videos.

3- The Khorramshahr-4 group, the Sejjil group, the Fatah group, and the Haj Qassem group: These are the most powerful Iranian missiles ever. They have a hypersonic speed of Mach 15, a warhead weighing up to 1500 kg, and high maneuverability and accuracy, making them a deterrent weapon. He emphasized that Iran has only used one or two of these systems so far; most of its strikes against Israel have been from the second group, and against the Gulf from the first.

Third: According to news reports, America has asked Asian countries to host American warships and weapons in their ports. This indicates that the American naval presence in the Gulf is currently weak, which strengthens the credibility of the claims that bases have been destroyed or rendered inoperable.

Fourth: America and Israel resorting to bombing Iranian infrastructure is evidence of intelligence failure, or, in other words, a “blind eye.” Previously, military strategy relied on the precision and impact of strikes, not on widespread destruction. It employed targeted assassinations instead of mass destruction to achieve a moral victory. The fact that the Zionists have resorted to bombing infrastructure indicates a feeling of weakness and the difficulty of achieving victory. This is a scorched-earth policy that armies throughout history have resorted to when they sense weakness or impending defeat, or to exert political and popular pressure to force the adversary to concede.

Sameh Askar concluded his tweet with the following summary: Yes, there is evidence that most of the 19 American bases in the Middle East have been destroyed or rendered inoperable. The key factor in this is the high-precision radars, sensors, and surveillance equipment, which Russia may have provided to Iran with intelligence, as reported by the American media yesterday and today.

He added: Rest assured, as long as Iran is striking Israel with the second generation of missiles (Emad, Qadr, and Khaibar Shiken) and hasn’t moved on to the third generation, it will be easier for Iranian missiles to reach Israel. This indicates a technological and intelligence gap in the Israeli defense system, which has become noticeable to everyone.
