Euro-Med Monitor: Most Gaza Schools Out of Service Due to the War of Genocide

The Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor confirmed on Monday that the overwhelming majority of schools in the Gaza Strip are out of service due to the total or partial destruction they have suffered during two years of what it described as genocide.

In a post on the platform “X,” the monitor stated that 95% of schools in the Gaza Strip have sustained physical damage, while estimates indicate that more than 90% of school buildings require reconstruction or major rehabilitation.

It noted that this situation has effectively rendered the vast majority of schools in Gaza non-operational.

Backed by the United States and Europe, the Israeli enemy’s army has, for more than two continuous years since October 7, 2023, carried out what has been described as acts of genocide, siege, and starvation in the Gaza Strip.

These actions have resulted in the killing of 72,133 Palestinian civilians, most of them children and women, and the injury of 171,826 others to date, according to a non-final toll.

Thousands of victims remain under the rubble or in the streets, with ambulance and rescue teams unable to reach them.
