Gaza and Al-Aqsa: Steadfast Resistance Against Aggression

The Zionist enemy continues its ongoing aggression against the Palestinian people, while Palestinians demonstrate their unwavering commitment to their rights and holy sites, amidst the steadfastness of Gaza and the worshippers’ steadfastness at the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.

According to the Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip, the death toll from the aggression since October 7, 2023, has risen to 72,136 martyrs and 171,839 wounded, many of whom remain trapped under the rubble, inaccessible to ambulance crews.

Hamas Condemns the Burning of Duma Mosque

The Hamas movement condemned the arson attack by settlers on the Muhammad Fayyad Mosque in the town of Duma, southeast of Nablus, describing the incident as a heinous crime and a blatant disregard for the sanctity of the month of Ramadan.

The movement affirmed that the continued settler attacks reflect the mentality of terrorism and extremism fueled by the fascist enemy government, emphasizing that these attacks will not deter the Palestinian people from clinging to their land and holy sites and defending them by all available means.

Systematic Targeting of the Fishing Profession

The Gaza Center for Human Rights announced that the Israeli occupation forces have systematically targeted the fishing sector, destroying thousands of boats and equipment and imposing a closed military zone along the coast. Approximately 43 fishermen have been arrested, and dozens more have been injured or killed while trying to earn their daily living.

The Center emphasized that these practices constitute war crimes and collective punishment against civilians, calling on the international community and the International Criminal Court to take action to stop the targeting and ensure the protection of civilians and their livelihoods.

Calls to Stand Firm at Al-Aqsa
Calls have intensified in Jerusalem to travel to Al-Aqsa Mosque on the last Friday of Ramadan and perform prayers at the closest possible location, given the ongoing Israeli restrictions on access for worshippers.

Experts indicated that being present at the gates of the mosque or in its vicinity sends a message of attachment to the mosque and rejection of attempts to impose a new reality. A large turnout of Palestinians in the Old City is expected.

Ongoing Aggression

The Zionist enemy continues its violations of the ceasefire in Gaza, through air raids and intensive artillery shelling, targeting areas east of Gaza City, Khan Younis and Al-Bureij. The Civil Defense indicated the continuation of low-altitude flights by warplanes, with intensive gunfire from helicopters, reflecting an ongoing escalation since October 2023, which has resulted in the martyrdom and injury of thousands of Palestinians, in addition to widespread destruction affecting most areas of the Strip.
