Revolution Leader: The Enemy Has Failed to Break Yemen’s Will… We Will Continue to Confront the Zionist Scheme
Revolution leader Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi affirmed that the American-Saudi aggression has failed to achieve its objectives despite its widespread crimes. He emphasized that the Yemeni people are steadfastly confronting projects of hegemony and targeting, and are committed to their right to freedom and independence.
In his speech on the National Day of Steadfastness, the leader explained that the suffering of the Yemeni people is a direct result of the aggression’s policies, foremost among them the deprivation of their oil wealth, which represents the cornerstone for covering salaries and services.
Plundering Oil Wealth: An Ongoing Crime
He pointed out that Yemen possesses large oil reserves, but has been completely deprived of them due to the manipulation and plundering by foreign companies. He affirmed that production used to reach approximately half a million barrels per day, without any positive impact on the lives of citizens.
He explained that the oil sector’s losses have exceeded $57 billion, with the loss of revenue from tens of millions of barrels annually. He considered depriving the people of their wealth a grave injustice and an ongoing crime, which has exacerbated the suffering of citizens, particularly regarding salaries and services.
Attempts at Domination and Control of Decision-Making
He pointed out that the aggression coalition continues to occupy parts of the country and insists on imposing its control over political decisions by controlling the appointment of leaders and the management of state institutions in a way that serves American, Israeli, and British interests.
He emphasized that these policies aim to subjugate Yemen and transform it into a dependent state, noting that what is imposed on the mercenaries is intended to be applied to all of Yemen.
Internal Infiltration and Systematic Attempts
The leader revealed ongoing attempts to infiltrate the home front by buying loyalties and corrupting consciences. He affirmed that those who sell their principles and betray their homeland have no value, and that these attempts will not succeed in the face of the Yemeni people’s awareness and steadfastness.
He pointed out that some regimes, foremost among them the Saudi regime, view their instruments as mere tools for implementing the American-Israeli project in the region.
A Regional Conflict and a Comprehensive Plan
He affirmed that what is happening in the region is part of a broad Zionist plan targeting all countries under the guise of “changing the Middle East” and establishing what is called “Greater Israel,” warning of the danger of this project, which spares no one.
He explained that America is the primary partner in this project, and that the aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran comes within the context of implementing this plan, without any regard for its repercussions on the security and stability of the region and the world.
A Call for Vigilance and Unity
The Supreme Leader called on the Islamic nation to be aware of the reality of what is happening and to unite in the face of American-Israeli aggression, emphasizing that religious and moral responsibility necessitates a unified stance to deter this dangerous project.
He pointed to the continued aggression against the Palestinian people in Gaza and the targeting of Lebanon, amidst the cowardly positions of some regimes.
Praise for Iran and the Resistance Axis
He praised Iranian steadfastness, emphasizing that the Islamic Republic’s unwavering resolve and strong stance serve as an inspiration to the nation, especially given its ability to respond to and confront aggression.
He also affirmed that Yemen is part of this stance, not neutral, but rather stands with the nation in confronting the Zionist scheme, supporting Palestine, Lebanon, and all the nation’s causes.
A Firm Stance and Readiness for All Options
The Leader stressed that Yemen will not hesitate to fulfill its duty in confronting aggression, affirming that any developments necessitating military confrontation will be dealt with confidently and with reliance on God.
He stated that Yemen’s position is clear in confronting America and Israel, without any hostile intentions towards Islamic countries.
He emphasized that steadfastness and resilience based on faith and reliance on God are the path to victory, reiterating the call for the unity of the nation in the face of Zionist aggression and American tyranny.
