In a statement issued today, Thursday, Qaani affirmed that the massacres perpetrated by the Zionist enemy against civilians in Lebanon once again reveal the criminal nature of this entity, stressing that its history is “replete with crimes against humanity and the slaughter of innocent people, women, and children.”

He pointed out that the head of the criminal occupation government, Benjamin Netanyahu, through the recent aggression against Lebanon, attempted to demonstrate an even higher level of brutality, adding that this behavior reflects his subservience to the United States, but it will not alter the equation of confrontation in any way; rather, it will hasten a harsh response from the resistance forces.

The commander of the Quds Force emphasized that the resistance axis is on high alert and that the message is clear: the blood spilled in Lebanon will not be in vain, and the response will be commensurate with the crime, imposing new realities on the ground.

This stance comes in the wake of a large-scale Israeli aggression that targeted several Lebanese cities and towns on Wednesday, including Beirut, Sidon, and Baalbek, less than ten hours after the announcement of a ceasefire with Iran. This move was considered a blatant violation and an attempt to escalate the conflict.

According to the Lebanese Ministry of Health, the aggression resulted in hundreds of martyrs and wounded, placing immense pressure on hospitals and causing a massive influx of injured people, reflecting the scale of the crime committed against civilians.

Observers confirm that the timing and nature of the aggression carry escalatory messages, while the resistance axis asserts that any new transgression will be met with a deterrent response, within the framework of an escalating equation: blood for blood, and aggression will not go unpunished.
