Qalibaf: Lebanon and the Resistance Front are Part of the Ceasefire

Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf affirmed that “Lebanon and the entire Resistance Front are allies of Iran and an integral part of the ceasefire,” adding that “this is stated in the first of the ten points.”

Qalibaf wrote in a post on the “X” platform: “Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has publicly and clearly emphasized the issue of Lebanon, and there is no room for denial or backtracking.”

He warned that “violations of the ceasefire will have a clear cost and strong responses,” adding: “Stop firing immediately.”

Yesterday, an Iranian security and political source confirmed to Al-Mayadeen that “we will not remain silent in the face of any attack on Lebanon or aggression against Iran, and the aggressor will be punished forcefully and clearly.”

While the source explained that the cessation of hostilities on various fronts, including Lebanon, came with the approval of the United States as part of a two-week ceasefire plan, he indicated that the Iranian armed forces are studying response options and identifying targets in the face of attacks on Lebanon.

Yesterday, the Israeli enemy committed massacres against innocent civilians in various parts of Lebanon, resulting in the martyrdom and injury of hundreds. This constitutes a full-fledged war crime and a clear violation of international law. This came after Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced that Iran and the United States, along with their allies, had agreed to an immediate ceasefire everywhere, including Lebanon, to take effect immediately. However, the head of the criminal enemy government, Benjamin Netanyahu, claimed that the proposed ceasefire did not include Lebanon, thus escalating his massacres in the country.
