Hezbollah intercepts a drone and bombs Israeli enemy positions and vehicles.
The Lebanese-Palestinian border witnessed a wide-ranging field escalation today, as the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon announced the implementation of a series of qualitative operations targeting gatherings and vehicles of the Israeli enemy in the towns of Rashaf and Al-Bayada with artillery shelling and rocket salvos, confirming direct hits.
In another development, enemy media reported casualties from a drone strike in the Shlomi area of the Western Galilee, while sirens sounded in Arab al-Aramsheh for fear of additional drones entering.
Hezbollah, for its part, announced that it had intercepted an enemy drone in the airspace of Abbasiya with a surface-to-air missile, in addition to targeting a “D9” type military bulldozer in the vicinity of the Al-Abbad site with a dive drone, achieving a confirmed hit.
The party also confirmed that its fighters targeted a gathering of enemy soldiers near the Misgav Am site inside the occupied territories with a drone strike and achieved a confirmed hit.
In contrast, the Israeli army radio reported that a booby-trapped drone penetrated the airspace from Lebanon for the fifth time since the ceasefire and landed in the town of Metula without causing any injuries, noting that it was carrying an explosive device and optical fibers. Meanwhile, the Israeli army announced the launch of an interceptor missile at a target that later turned out to be a dummy target in the Arab al-Aramsha area in northern occupied Palestine.
These field developments reflect the continuation of the open confrontation between the resistance and the enemy, and confirm that qualitative operations with drones and artillery have become part of the new deterrence equation on the borders.
