Loyalty Bloc: The resistance protects Lebanon, and US sanctions will not change the equations.

Ihab Hamadeh, a member of the Loyalty to the Resistance bloc in the Lebanese parliament, affirmed on Saturday that the resistance’s weapons constitute a fundamental guarantee for the protection of Lebanon, rejecting American calls to disarm it.

He considered that the new US sanctions reflect a state of helplessness, and constitute a political pressure tactic that will not affect the existing equations, according to Al-Manar website.

Hamada’s remarks came during an event organized by the Islamic Jihad Movement to commemorate the weekly anniversary of the martyred leader Wael Abdel Halim and his martyred daughter Rama, in the Galilee camp in Baalbek, in the presence of political figures and popular activists.

For his part, Atta Sahwil, the Islamic Jihad Movement official in the Galilee camp, stressed the commitment to the option of resistance, emphasizing the continuation of the path of jihad until the defeat of the Israeli enemy and the restoration of rights and holy sites.
