Iranian President: Zionist media conceals facts; expanding awareness is a responsibility that transcends borders.

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian asserted on Friday that a large part of the global media is subject to Zionist hegemony and control, preventing people from accessing the facts and understanding what is happening realistically. He stressed the importance of strengthening the awareness and media role to counter campaigns of misinformation and falsification.

The Iranian news agency IRNA quoted Pezeshkian as saying, during his talk about the role and mission of public relations departments, that the extent of the influence of these departments and the degree of their impact reflects the level of their success in performing their national and media duties, noting that responsibility today is no longer confined within geographical boundaries, but has become linked to the ability to convey the truth to global public opinion.

The Iranian president explained that expanding the circle of media and awareness, and taking advantage of the virtual space and available technical capabilities, represent an important factor in promoting awareness and breaking the media monopoly practiced by the forces supporting the Zionist entity.

Pezeshkian pointed out that part of the world’s media is under Zionist control, which prevents people from seeing the facts as they are. He stressed, on the other hand, that the growth of alternative media tools and modern communication methods provides a real opportunity to deliver the correct narrative and deepen media influence in the face of disinformation campaigns.

The Iranian president stressed that the responsibility of public relations and media workers and activists represents a great mission, requiring redoubled efforts to raise awareness and reveal the facts to the people, in light of the media war that aims to mislead global public opinion and conceal the crimes and violations committed by the forces of hegemony and occupation
