From Hamadan to Sahar… June 2nd bears witness to unforgettable crimes

June 2nd represents one of the bloodiest days in the record of the American-Saudi-Emirati aggression against Yemen, as this date witnessed a series of massacres and violations targeting civilians, residential neighborhoods, public facilities and infrastructure in a number of governorates, resulting in the martyrdom and injury of dozens, including women and children.

The events of this day reveal the extent of the military escalation carried out by the aggression and its mercenaries through air raids, artillery and missile shelling, and the direct targeting of residential areas and service facilities, in a scene that reflects the continuation of crimes against the Yemeni people throughout the years of aggression.

2015 AD.. Massacres and targeting of public facilities
On June 2, 2015, 13 citizens were martyred and 16 others were injured as a result of air raids by the aggression aircraft that targeted the Al Jumaida commercial shops, the shops and homes of Daghsan Taleh Al Sabri and the Al Khafji market in Sahar district in Saada governorate.

The enemy aircraft targeted the Higher Institute for Teachers, the Commercial Technical Institute, and the schoolbook warehouses at the Education Office in Saada with a series of raids, while the enemy forces bombed the Bani Sayyah area in the Razih district with missiles.

In Sana’a Governorate, three women and three children were killed and four others were injured as a result of an airstrike that targeted three homes of citizens in the Al-Arrah area of ​​Hamdan District, which led to their complete destruction. The air force also targeted the telecommunications company building in Wadi Dhahr.

A citizen was killed as a result of the aggression aircraft targeting citizens’ homes, the government complex and the stadium of Qataba city in Al-Dhale’ province with three missiles.

Six citizens were injured and a large number of homes were damaged in the Bir Abu Shamla, Old Sana’a and Al-Tahrir areas as a result of raids targeting the headquarters of the Supreme Command of the Armed Forces in the capital, Sana’a.

In Taiz Governorate, a number of citizens were injured as a result of a series of raids that targeted the tourist village of Al-Dhabab and citizens’ homes in Al-Ta’iziyah District. The air force also launched raids on Jabal Aman, Al-Hashmah and Al-Dhabab areas, the northern 40th Street and the vicinity of Jabal Jarrah.

The aggression aircraft launched a series of raids on the city of Haradh and its suburbs in Hajjah Governorate, and on the strategic Mount Helan in Marib Governorate.

The enemy aircraft also targeted Aden International Airport and the Al-Arish and Khor Maksar areas in Aden Governorate with several raids, and launched other raids on the city of Zinjibar in Abyan Governorate.

2016 AD.. Bombing of neighborhoods and targeting of schools
On June 2, 2016, a citizen was killed by sniper fire from the mercenaries of the aggression in the Al-Muzaffar neighborhood in the center of Taiz city.

In the same province, mercenaries shelled residential areas in Gharab, Jabal al-Shabaka, Azzan and al-Qashuba in al-Wazi’iyah district with artillery and machine guns, and also launched a missile attack on al-Amri schools and the city of Dhubab.

In Shabwa Governorate, a child was injured when a citizen’s house was targeted by a Katyusha rocket in Asilan District, while enemy aircraft launched an airstrike on the Al-Alam area in the same district.

The aggression aircraft launched three raids on the village of Al-Qaran, south of the capital Sana’a, while missile and artillery shelling by the mercenaries targeted the areas of Malh, Jabal Al-Hawl, Wadi Malh and Mabda’a in the Nehm district.

In Al-Jawf Governorate, the air force launched raids on Al-Maslub District and Al-Saqiyah area in Al-Ghayl District, while mercenaries targeted citizens’ homes in the Al-Masajid area of ​​Al-Maslub and Al-Matun districts with Katyusha rockets and artillery.

The aggression aircraft also targeted Harf Sufyan district in Amran governorate with ten raids.

2017 AD.. Border targeting and raids on Saada
On June 2, 2017, a citizen was killed and four others were injured as a result of gunfire by the Saudi border guards in the Al Sheikh area of ​​the Munabbih border district in Saada Governorate.

The aggression aircraft launched an air raid on the Mandabah area in the Baqim district, causing severe damage to citizens’ property.

2019 AD.. Bombing of properties and neighborhoods
On June 2, 2019, the aggression aircraft launched two raids on the Qaa Al-Jamea area in Al-Sabra district in Ibb Governorate, which resulted in material damage to buildings and facilities.

The enemy aircraft also launched two raids on the Al-Saifi area in the Sahar district of Saada Governorate.
