British report: Iran inflicted severe damage on 20 US bases in 8 countries

The BBC revealed that recent satellite images showed that at least 20 US military bases and facilities in the Middle East suffered varying degrees of damage as a result of Iranian attacks in response to US-Israeli aggression.

According to the report, the satellite analysis included US military sites spread across eight countries in the region, where the images showed damage to a number of air defense systems and radars, as well as refueling aircraft, fuel depots, aircraft hangars and logistical support facilities.

The agency indicated that initial assessments suggest that the material losses are substantial, given the nature of the targets that were bombed and the extent of the damage to military infrastructure , including facilities designated for housing soldiers and personnel within the bases.

The report explained that the results of the analysis were based on a review of high-resolution satellite images conducted by geospatial intelligence experts, who detected clear traces of the strikes on a number of military installations spread throughout the region.

The BBC also quoted military analysts as estimating that the number of affected sites may be greater than the announced figure, as assessments and monitoring of the damage caused by the attacks continue.

These data highlight the extent of the impact that the Iranian strikes had on the American military deployment in the Middle East, and the accompanying damage to infrastructure and military systems that are considered essential pillars of American operations in the region.
