Major General Abdullahi: Our forces are at the highest level of readiness, and any threat will be met with a decisive response.
The commander of the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, Major General Ali Abdollahi, affirmed that the Iranian armed forces are at the highest level of readiness to respond to any aggression targeting the country’s security and sovereignty, stressing that any new threat will be met with “effective and painful” operations against the enemy.
In a message marking the first anniversary of the war waged by Iran against the enemy entity and the United States, the twelve-day war, Abdollahi stated that the confrontation proved the Iranian people’s ability to defend their independence and national security through unity, rallying around the leadership, and relying on the capabilities of the armed forces, stressing that Iran’s adversaries failed to achieve their goals and suffered a “humiliating strategic defeat.”
Abdullahi pointed out that the Iranian people continue to show their support for the military establishment and the principles of the Islamic Revolution through the broad popular presence in various arenas, considering that this popular support has contributed to strengthening and consolidating Iran’s deterrent power at the international level.
The commander of the Khatam al-Anbiya headquarters praised the sacrifices of the commanders and military personnel who were martyred during the confrontations, including “Mohammad Bagheri, Gholam Ali Rashid, Ali Shadmani, Hossein Salami and Amir Ali Hajizadeh,” considering that they embodied a model of sacrifice and defense of the country.
Major General Abdollahi stressed that the Iranian armed forces continue to monitor threats and prepare to confront them, emphasizing that the path of “independence and resistance” will continue and that Iran’s flag will remain raised despite the challenges and pressures.
