The events committee calls for a two-million-strong march to commemorate the martyrdom of Imam Zaid and to support the armed forces’ statement.

The organizing committee for the events called for the largest million-person marches “to commemorate the martyrdom of Imam Zaid, peace be upon him, and in support of the statement of the armed forces” on Friday afternoon in Al-Sabeen Square in the capital Sana’a and the squares of the rest of the governorates.

In a statement, the committee stressed the importance of broad participation in the marches to commemorate the martyrdom of Imam Zaid, peace be upon him, and to emphasize following his path in confronting the forces of arrogance and tyranny, and supporting the statement of the armed forces in defending the sovereignty and independence of the homeland, restoring national wealth, and defeating the occupiers
