Hebrew and Iranian media sources reported on Thursday that Iran launched a large-scale attack on American military sites and bases in the region, in response to the American aggression that targeted Iran last night.

According to what was reported by the Hebrew “Channel 12”, the US Embassy in Jordan called on its employees to head immediately to safe places, in light of serious security developments.

For its part, the Israeli Army Radio confirmed that Iran bombed the “Muwafaq Salti” base in Jordan, where American forces are located, noting that the bombing also affected other areas.

These developments coincided with news of an attack on the US military base in Zarqa, Jordan, where violent explosions rocked the area.

Sirens sounded in several Jordanian regions, while Jordanian authorities have not issued an official statement as of the time of writing this report.

In a related development, reports emerged of an attack on a warship and vessels belonging to the US forces in the Gulf waters, without precise details regarding the extent of the damage or losses.

In the same context, Iranian media reported hearing explosions in the “Jaghadak” area of ​​Bushehr province in southern Iran, amid a state of high alert in the region.

This military escalation comes in the wake of US strikes launched by Washington last night on targets inside Iranian territory, prompting Tehran to respond by targeting US bases in Jordan and naval targets in the Gulf.
