Photos show the Iranian attack hit two hangars at a US base in Jordan.

Media outlets and monitoring platforms circulated satellite images showing the aftermath of an Iranian missile attack targeting the Muwaffaq Salti Air Base used by US forces in Jordan, indicating that two aircraft hangars inside the base were hit.

The attack was carried out on the afternoon of July 9 by 11 ballistic missiles launched by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, targeting the base located more than 1,000 kilometers from Iranian territory, in response to the American aggression that targeted civilian and military facilities in southern Iran.

The reports added that the images show at least two direct hits, which they said destroyed two aircraft hangars, noting that these two facilities had recently entered service since July 2, 2026.

Reports indicated that the nature of the equipment or aircraft that were inside those hangars has not yet been clarified.

American and Jordanian sources had claimed that all missiles targeting the base at that time were intercepted and destroyed, which contradicts aerial satellite images.
