Gaza caught between the hell of bombardment and the knife of starvation… The entity continues its genocide under the world’s gaze.
The tragedy of Gaza is no longer summed up by the numbers of martyrs and wounded, but is now read in the faces of children exhausted by hunger, in displacement tents besieged by suffering, and in families pursued by the killing machine from one place to another. While the entity continues its bombing and siege, new chapters of a crime targeting the Palestinian people and their means of survival are being revealed, amidst international testimonies documenting the magnitude of the disaster that the sector is experiencing.
While the Israeli enemy continues its daily violations of the ceasefire agreement, new chapters of the tragedy are unfolding, confirming that the machinery of extermination has not stopped, and that civilians, especially children, remain the most targeted in one of the most heinous crimes witnessed in the modern era.
A child sums up the tragedy of Gaza
Inside a dilapidated displacement tent, the Palestinian child Younis Mahmoud Jumaa lives a daily battle between hunger, disease, and death. He was born blind, but the Zionist aggression added another tragedy to his disability: severe atrophy and malnutrition that deprived him of the ability to move, while his mother, who suffers from cancer and heart disease, is unable to provide him with the necessary treatment or food.
Younis’s story is no longer an individual case, but has become a picture that summarizes the reality of thousands of children who were besieged by the war of extermination, and the doors of treatment and food were closed in their faces, until hunger itself became a weapon used against them.
UN testimonies condemn the aggression
The human tragedy is no longer limited to the stories of the victims, but has become documented in reports and testimonies issued by the highest international bodies. The head of the United Nations Independent International Commission of Inquiry on the Occupied Palestinian Territories, Srinivasan Muralidhari, confirmed that the Israeli enemy systematically targets children and seeks to eliminate the continuity of the Palestinians as a human group.
The UN official described life in Gaza as “hell,” noting that the sector is witnessing widespread destruction, a collapse of basic services, and a severe shortage of food and medicine, while displaced people are living in conditions unfit for human beings.
He explained that the committee documented the “killing” of children who were raising the white flag, and others who were collecting firewood or running after aid trucks, stressing that these crimes reveal a clear intention to target civilians, especially children.
A truce on paper
Despite talk of a ceasefire agreement, the facts on the ground confirm that the enemy continues its violations on a daily basis. Raids are still targeting homes, apartments, and shelters, while killings and bombings continue in various areas of the Gaza Strip, leaving more martyrs and wounded.
In the last few hours alone, a number of Palestinians, including children, were killed in a bombing that targeted residential areas in Gaza City, while the Palestinian Ministry of Health confirmed that dozens of martyrs and wounded had arrived at hospitals, with other victims remaining under the rubble.
Official statistics indicate that the toll of the aggression since October 7, 2023 has risen to more than 73,000 martyrs and about 174,000 wounded, in one of the bloodiest crimes in modern history.
Crimes behind bars
The enemy’s crimes do not stop at bombing, but extend to inside prisons and detention centers. The Palestinian Center for Prisoner Studies revealed that the enemy authorities closed dozens of investigation files into the martyrdom of detainees from Gaza, without holding any of those involved accountable, in a move it described as an attempt to obliterate evidence and let the perpetrators escape punishment.
The center confirmed that dozens of prisoners died as a result of torture, starvation, medical neglect and physical abuse inside detention centers, most notably the “Sde Teiman” detention center, which has become a symbol of systematic violations against Palestinian detainees.
Ongoing extermination
Daily events in Gaza reveal that the enemy no longer targets only buildings and facilities, but has made the Palestinian people a direct target, through killing, starvation, siege, displacement and torture, in a systematic policy aimed at breaking the will of the Palestinian people and undermining the foundations of their survival on their land.
