The Zionist enemy continues to violate the ceasefire by carrying out bombings and shelling in southern Lebanon.

.

Last night and at dawn today, Friday, the Zionist enemy army continued its violations of the ceasefire agreement in southern Lebanon, through carrying out bombing operations, aerial bombardment, gunfire, and burning of houses.

The Lebanese National News Agency reported that enemy forces carried out, at dawn on Friday, bombing operations targeting a number of culverts and roads linking the towns of Haddatha, Al-Tayri and Qounin, in a move that would damage infrastructure and disrupt the movement of citizens between the southern towns.

The agency added that the Zionist enemy forces opened fire with their machine guns in the morning towards the eastern outskirts of the town of Majdal Zoun, coinciding with the sound of violent explosions in the western sector, after the enemy carried out two successive bombing operations in the Al-Mashaa and Jab Suwaid neighborhoods within the Tyre district, where the sound of the explosions reached the city of Tyre and the surrounding areas, which caused a state of fear and anxiety among the residents.

In the context of the air attacks, the Zionist enemy’s drones launched a raid targeting the outskirts of the town of Al-Mansouri, while the occupation soldiers set fire to a house in the city of Al-Khiam near the Al-Mabarrat area, continuing to target civilian property and inflict further damage on residential areas.

The Zionist warplanes also carried out another raid targeting the vicinity of Deir Siryan – Al-Qusayr, as part of a series of raids that are frequently witnessed in the southern Lebanese regions, despite the ceasefire agreement. Lebanese reports confirm the continuation of aerial and artillery bombardment, gunfire operations, and limited incursions, which keeps the security situation in a state of constant tension and hinders the return of stability to the border areas.

Since March 2nd, the Zionist enemy has escalated its attacks on Lebanon, targeting villages, towns and civilian infrastructure in the south, resulting in thousands of martyrs and wounded, in addition to the displacement of approximately one and a half million citizens, according to data in official Lebanese reports.

Despite this, developments on the ground indicate the continuation of daily attacks carried out by the Zionist enemy army in southern Lebanon, amid warnings that the continuation of these violations may undermine efforts to consolidate the ceasefire and exacerbate the state of tension and instability in the region, in light of repeated Lebanese demands to stop the violations and respect the commitments stipulated in the agreement.
