The armed forces shoot down a Saudi enemy Bayraktar Akinci drone and affirm: Yemen’s sovereignty is a red line.

The Yemeni Armed Forces announced today that they shot down an armed reconnaissance aircraft belonging to the Saudi enemy while it was carrying out hostile acts in the airspace of Al-Jawf Governorate.

The official spokesman for the armed forces, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, explained in a statement that a Turkish-made “Bayraktar Akinci” armed reconnaissance aircraft belonging to the Saudi enemy was shot down while it was carrying out hostile acts in the airspace of Al-Jawf Governorate.

He pointed out that the plane was shot down with a suitable weapon, thanks to God.

The armed forces affirmed that they will confront any attempt to violate the country’s sovereignty and that they have the capabilities and potential to do so, God willing.
