The Syrian Army and Armed Forces units, in cooperation with allies, made a new advance in pursuing the ISIL terrorists in the depth of the Syrian Badiya desert by achieving a perimeter around al-Hael oil field in the eastern countryside of Palmyra in Homs province.

A military source told SANA on Wednesday that army units are now 1 km away from al-Hael field in the countryside of Palmyra, and are encircling the caches of ISIL terrorists in the field from the west, south, and southeast.
