No Russian servicemen captivated by ISIS in Deir Ezzor: MoD

(The Russian Ministry of Defense has renounced claims promulgated by Daesh that the terrorists captured alive 2 Russian servicemen, killed a third one in the eastern Syrian city of Deir Ezzor.
“All Russian servicemen in Syria are safe, healthy and continue fulfilling their assigned tasks. There have been no incidents of Russian servicemen being captured, or any losses in the Deir ez-Zor province or other areas in Syria,” a representative of the Hmeymim airbase in the Latakia province stated.
Earlier today, ISIS terror group made an official statement via its social media account, Aamaq Agency, claiming that its militants captivated 2 Russian troops and killed another one during a fatal attack on the Syrian government-held town of al-Shola, situated along the Sukhnah-Deir Ezzor highway.
