Ali Ashish is one of the thousands of Yemenis from the Yemenis governorates that volunteered to join a group of Yemeni civilians fighting alongside Tahama`s residents fighters this week, after via a televised speech broadcast of Seyyed abdulmalik al Houthi, Leader of the Yemeni Revolution, on Friday

Huge numbers of Yemeni residents have responded by taking to the battlefield in the largest draw of volunteer fighters since the U.S.-backed Saudi coalition began its offensive on the strategic port of Hodeida three weeks ago

This development comes after the U.S.-Saudi-led coalition rejected an initiative from the United Nations’ envoy to Yemen, Martin Griffiths

The Saudi-led coalition, unable to secure control of the strategic port city of Hodeida, has recently flooded the cities and towns surrounding Hodeida with foreign and indigenous mercenaries, hoping to bring the port city to its knees by taking control of the surrounding region

On June 24, Yemeni Army and Popular Committee expelled Saudi-led coalition fighters, as well as the mercenaries under their employ, from the cities of al Jah and al Fazah, south of Hodeida

Seyyed Abdulmalik stated, during a televised speech marking the anniversary of Al-Sarkha (“the slogan”) on Friday,  that Riyadh and Abu Dhabi regimes are struggling with mounting economic crises as they are pouring huge sums of money into the pockets of US statesmen

He warned that the United States and Israel are doing their best in order to bring all aspects of Yemenis’ lives under their control, stressing that utter humiliation awaits the Yemeni nation in case it cedes to arrogant powers’ plots

Enemies are trying to divert our nation from the right path. They are seeking to transform Yemen into a society beset with problems, diseases and ethical issues,” the Ansarullah chief pointed out

He underlined that no Muslim society would become subservient to the US and the Tel Aviv regime unless it distances from Islamic teachings and ethics

“Enemies want to separate us from the principles of true Islam, and then present us a distorted version of the monolithic religion. They want to distort Islam because its true version emphatically rejects submission to aggressors. Whatever enemies do is solely meant to take our Yemeni nation away from true Islam,” Seyyed Houthi said

The Ansarullah leader went on to say that Saudi Arabia and the UAE are following in the footsteps of the US and Israel concerning conspiracies against Islam

“Yemen is under incessant attack by both the Saudi-led bombardment campaign and propaganda war. We need to foster awareness among strata of the Yemeni society, and promote the culture of Quran,” he commented
