Human Rights Center: Over a Hundred Civilians were Killed and Injured in November

Yemen Center for Human Rights stated that the Saudi-led coalition killed and injured 137 people, including women, children and African migrants, as a result of raids and bombardment in the governorates of Hodeidah and Sa’ada last November.

In its monthly report, the center stated that the number of killed civilians reached 39, including two children and a woman, while the number of injured civilians reached 98, including 13 children and six women.

The report stated that during November, the Saudi-led coalition launched 145 airstrikes and targeted with 788 shells and missiles 30 residential buildings, 27 residential areas, a civilian community, a market, an airport, a school, and 10 farms.

The report noted that the US-backed coalition launched 19 airstrikes on Hodeidah governorate in violation of the ceasefire agreement, targeting with ten raids Kamran island and three raids the port of Ras Issa, killing and injuring a number of civilians. The Saudi-led coalition also launched five raids on the north of Hodeidah and a raid on Al-Faza area in Attohayta district.

The report indicated that the Saudi/UAE mercenaries targeted with medium machine guns the village of Za`faran in Kilo-16, targeted al-Jah area in Beit al-Faqih district with 14 shells, and targeted civilians’ homes in Addurayhimi city with 80 artillery shells, in addition to targeting the cars and farms of the citizens in Al-Jah area.

According to the report, more than seven thousand citizens in Addurayhimi district live in extremely difficult humanitarian conditions as a result of bombarded civilian homes and farms, schools and communication networks in the city and the blockade for more than a year and a half.

In Sa’ada governorate, the report indicated that the Saudi-led coalition committed a massacre against African migrants, as a Saudi artillery bombing targeted their camp in Al-Raqw market in the border district of Munabbih, killing 10 including women and children and injuring 15 others. Similar bombing also targeted African migrants in the district of Munabbih, where 10 people were killed and 35 others were injured.

The report stated that coalition warplanes launched a raid on Baqim district, killing a boy and a woman, and injuring four others, including two children, while a cluster bomb, dropped by the Saudi-led coalition, injured a child in Baqim district.
