Gaza Government Media: Number of Journalist Martyrs Rises to 240 After Death of Al-Madhoun
The Government Media Office in the Gaza Strip announced on Saturday that the number of journalist martyrs has risen to 240 since the start of the genocide crime committed by the Israeli enemy in the Gaza Strip, following the martyrdom of journalist Khaled Mohammed Al-Madhoun, who worked as a photojournalist for Palestine TV.
In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (SABA), the office strongly condemned the systematic targeting, killing, and assassination of Palestinian journalists by the Israeli enemy.
It called on the International Federation of Journalists, the Arab Journalists Union, and all journalistic bodies worldwide to condemn these systematic crimes against Palestinian journalists and media workers in the Gaza Strip.
The office held the Israeli enemy, the American administration, and countries participating in the genocide crime, such as the United Kingdom, Germany, and France, fully responsible for committing these heinous and brutal crimes.
It also urged the international community, international organizations, and organizations related to journalistic and media work worldwide to condemn the crimes of the Israeli enemy, deter it, and pursue it in international courts for its ongoing crimes, ensuring that the enemy’s criminals are brought to justice.
Additionally, it demanded serious and effective pressure to stop the genocide crime, protect journalists and media workers in the Gaza Strip, and end the crimes of killing and assassinating them.
