The Leader: “The Al-Aqsa Flood restored the nation’s awareness and exposed the schemes of domination and corruption.”

The Leader of the Revolution, Sayyid Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, affirmed in his address marking the second anniversary of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood that this blessed operation represented a historic turning point in the awareness and liberation path of the Muslim nation, as it revealed the extent of American and Zionist hegemony over the region and unmasked the client regimes that had surrendered their peoples’ sovereignty to the will of the enemies.

Sayyid al-Houthi explained that the policies imposed by the U.S. and Israel on certain Arab states have driven the region’s economy to the brink of collapse, turning their countries into consumer markets serving the interests of the enemies. Meanwhile, some regimes have allowed the Zionist enemy to infiltrate vital sectors such as telecommunications, technology, and security — to the extent that the enemy now spies on them while they believe he is protecting them.

He pointed out that the enemies are implementing a comprehensive plan aimed at corrupting Arab and Muslim youth, stripping them of their values and principles so that they become submissive tools in the hands of the enemy. He stressed that the manifestations of moral decay being imposed upon societies — even in the land of the Two Holy Mosques — fall within a broader scheme to dilute the nation’s identity and erase its religious and moral foundations.

The Leader also warned of the Zionist plan to grant citizenship to Israeli Jews in Gulf countries, enabling them to gain influence in economy, administration, and politics. He noted that the purchase of land and real estate by Zionists in Mecca and Medina poses a strategic danger, reminiscent of what happened in Palestine before its occupation.

Sayyid al-Houthi further emphasized that the enemy’s agenda seeks to fragment the region into small, warring entities divided along sectarian and regional lines, exploiting media platforms and social networks to spread discord and divert people’s attention from their central causes.

He concluded by affirming that Operation Al-Aqsa Flood restored the nation’s compass to its rightful direction, proving that resistance and jihad remain the only path to liberate the nation from American and Zionist enslavement and to safeguard its identity and central cause — Palestine.
