Gaza Health Ministry: Infant Dies

The Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced on Tuesday the death of an infant due to the severe cold wave sweeping the Strip as a result of the current weather system.

The Ministry stated in a press release, which was reviewed by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), that the infant, Muhammad Khalil Abu al-Khair (two weeks old), died from a sharp drop in body temperature due to the extreme cold.
