Israeli Occupation Forces Arrest Three Palestinians After Settlers Assault Two of Them in Masafer Yatta
Israeli occupation forces arrested three Palestinian citizens on Thursday from Masafer Yatta, south of Al Khalil in the occupied West Bank, after Zionist settlers assaulted two of them.
Palestinian activist Osama Makhmara told the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA) that a group of armed settlers wearing Israeli occupation forces’ uniforms detained several residents in the “Rujum A‘li” area of Masafer Yatta and assaulted them. The settlers later handed over two of the detainees—brothers Ibrahim and Abd Mahmoud Al-Adra—to Israeli forces, who subsequently arrested them.
In the Wadi Al-Jawaya area, Israeli forces raided Palestinians’ homes and tents, searched them, and vandalized their contents before arresting Palestinian citizen Mohammed Khalil Al-Shawahen.
