Al-Rantisi Hospital in Gaza: Significant Outbreak of Respiratory Diseases

Al-Rantisi Children’s Hospital in Gaza City warned on Sunday of a significant increase in the number of patients arriving at its emergency department, amid a surge in respiratory illnesses among the community, particularly children.

In a statement published on its Facebook page, which was reviewed by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the hospital explained that it received approximately 450 patients in the past 24 hours, the majority suffering from respiratory illnesses, the hospital indicated that this increase reflects the widespread transmission of these diseases among the population.
