Hamas: We presented positive, progressive positions in context of reorganizing Palestinian situation

Hamas spokesperson Hazem Qassem on Monday stated that the movement has presented positive and progressive positions within the framework of reorganizing the Palestinian situation.

Qassem called on the Palestinian Authority leadership to respond to this “historic moment” and move towards a state of national consensus.

Qassem emphasized in press statements that no Palestinian party can benefit from the current state of waiting or obstruct the achievement of national unity, according to the “Palestine Online” website.

He added that the PA leadership is mistaken if it believes it can benefit from the catastrophe that Palestinians are experiencing in the Gaza Strip.

He pointed out that the extremist Zionist right-wing government is targeting all Palestinian factions in various arenas, which necessitates expediting the unification of the Palestinian position to confront unprecedented dangers threatening the Palestinian cause.

Earlier, Hamas confirmed that it had issued directives to all government agencies and institutions to prepare for handing over all sectors to an independent Palestinian technocratic body in the Gaza Strip.
