The Zionist newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth has acknowledged, in a fresh admission of the strategic repercussions of Yemeni military operations in the Red Sea, that the port of Umm al-Rashrash, known in Israeli terms as “Eilat,” is facing an unprecedented crisis—the most severe in its history. This follows more than two years of sustained Yemeni attacks carried out in support of the Palestinian people and their resistance, and as part of a naval blockade imposed on the Zionist entity.

In its Tuesday edition, the newspaper conceded that Yemeni operations have led to the port’s near-total shutdown. Once a vital economic artery for the entity, the port has been reduced to a largely idle facility, rarely receiving commercial vessels amid the security and military inability to safeguard maritime routes in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aqaba.
