Sayyed Khamenei: The Iranian People Thwarted the Sedition Plot, and Trump Is a Criminal Behind It

The Leader of the Islamic Revolution and the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ali Khamenei, affirmed on Saturday that the Iranian people have crushed the backbone of sedition, adding that “the people delivered the final word through their unity.”

In a speech delivered on the occasion of the Prophet’s Mission (Al-Mab’ath Al-Nabawi), Sayyed Khamenei described U.S. President Donald Trump as a “criminal,” citing the damage, losses, and false accusations he inflicted on the Iranian people. He noted that the United States supported the unrest in Iran as a prelude to a larger operation it intended to carry out.

The Leader of the Revolution also pointed to the arrest of a large number of ringleaders and leaders of criminal acts of rioting and sabotage.

He added in this context: “We are not leading the country into war, but we will not show leniency toward criminals at home.”

In recent days, Iranian cities witnessed protests over deteriorating living and economic conditions. These demonstrations were quickly exploited by armed rioters engaging in deliberate violence and killings, with external backing—chiefly from the “Mossad” and the United States—aimed at igniting chaos and toppling the system. This assessment has been reiterated by Iranian officials in their statements and corroborated by investigations and evidence.

Concurrently, U.S. President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu issued threats of launching military aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran, under the pretext of “protecting the protesters.”
