Sana’a Commemorates the Anniversary of the Martyr of the Qur’an and Affirms Steadfastness in the Path of the Qur’anic Movement
The Political Office of Ansar Allah commemorated on Sunday in the capital, Sana’a, the annual anniversary of the Martyr of the Qur’an, Sayyid Hussein bin Badr al-Din al-Houthi, in a political and cultural event that reaffirmed the centrality of the Qur’anic path in confronting projects of domination and arrogance, and recalled the foundational role of the martyred leader in shaping the nation’s awareness and redirecting its compass toward its decisive causes.
Affirmation of Stability and Internal Fortification
At the event, Acting Prime Minister Scholar Mohammad Muftah affirmed that adopting the path of the Qur’anic Movement has granted Yemenis security and stability and thwarted attempts to plunge the country into scenarios of chaos and terror, similar to those witnessed in some states through political assassinations and bombings, citing incidents that targeted vital institutions such as Al-Ardi Hospital.
Muftah noted that the Qur’anic approach contributed to fortifying the internal front and building a collective awareness that defeated enemy plans aimed at tearing the social fabric and undermining security, stressing that the relative stability achieved despite aggression and blockade is a direct result of adherence to this path.
From Rhetoric to Action on the Palestinian Cause
For his part, Political Bureau member Dr. Taha Al-Mutawakel stressed that the path of the Qur’anic Movement transformed the Islamic position on the Palestinian cause from the realm of statements and denunciations to the arena of action and practical deterrence. He pointed out that this transformation broke the state of helplessness and restored the balance of power in confronting the Zionist enemy and its supporters.
Al-Mutawakel explained that the Qur’anic Movement, founded by the Martyr of the Qur’an, has become a comprehensive practical project that rebuilt awareness, liberated decision-making, and linked faith to stance — a development reflected today in Yemen’s advanced positions on Palestine and other causes of the Ummah.
A Liberatory Project Amid Regional and International Shifts
This commemoration comes amid rapid regional and international developments that confirm the correctness of the Qur’anic Movement and the thought of the Martyr of the Qur’an, who laid the foundations of a liberatory project that continues to assert its presence in the equations of conflict and grant Yemen an advanced position in the nation’s battle against domination, arrogance, and aggression.
