Israeli enemy forces, settlers continue attacks on Palestinians in WB
The Israeli enemy and its settler mobs continued their attacks on Palestinian citizens and their property in various areas of the occupied West Bank on Thursday.
Israeli enemy forces raided the home of Suhail Khoury, head of the National Conservatory of Music and chairman of the board of the Yabous Cultural Center, in occupied Jerusalem on Thursday, simultaneously raiding the center’s headquarters.
Local sources told the Palestinian News Agency (Wafa) that the Israeli forces handed Khoury a summons for interrogation at the al-Maskubiya detention center in occupied Jerusalem later that day.
In a related incident, Israeli forces arrested two Palestinian citizens in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron, following an attack by settlers on shepherds in the area.
Activist Osama Makhameh told Wafa news agency that a group of armed settlers attacked and chased shepherds in the Khallat Amira and Rajoum Ali areas, releasing their livestock onto Palestinian-owned land. Israeli forces then stormed the area and arrested Khalil Ismail al-Adra and Hamza Muhammad al-Adra.
Settler attacks targeting agricultural land and property continue in the southern Hebron area, particularly in Masafer Yatta. These attacks coincide with Israeli measures including demolitions and construction bans, part of a policy aimed at restricting Palestinian residents and forcing them to leave their land.
Israeli enemy forces arrested a young man from the Harash al-Saada area in Jenin on Thursday evening.
Local sources reported that Israeli enemy special forces infiltrated the Harash al-Saada area and arrested the young man after raiding his home. The sources added that the Israeli army deployed infantry units around Jenin refugee camp and the Khallat al-Souha area.
In Salfit, settlers assaulted a young man in the town of al-Zawiya, west of the city, on Thursday. Local sources reported that settlers attacked the young man Hassan Shqeir in the Ain area, southwest of the town, assaulting him and threatening to shoot him if he returned to the area.
