“Palestinian Civil Society Organizations” call for pressure on Israel to uphold ceasefire
The Director of the Palestinian Civil Society Organizations Network, Amjad Al-Shawa, today, Thursday, called on the international community to exert pressure on the Israeli enemy to fully implement the ceasefire and to facilitate the entry of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip.
In a statement to Cairo News Channel, Al-Shawa said there is an urgent need to expand operations at the Rafah crossing, increase the number of travelers , returnees, and remove the restrictions imposed by Israel that hinder the return of Palestinians to the Strip.
He warned that the continuation of these obstacles serves Israel’s plans to displace Palestinians.
Al-Shawa emphasized that international pressure is essential to ensure the protection of civilians and their right to return to their homes.
