Yemeni Scholars: US Ambassador’s Statements Reveal Imperialist and Zionist Approach to the Nation

The Yemeni Scholars Association issued a strong statement regarding the recent statements of the US ambassador to the Zionist entity and the developments in Lebanon and Iran. The Association asserted that these statements clearly reveal the imperialist agenda to entrench the status quo, impose a fait accompli, and accept the implementation of the Israeli enemy’s plans at the expense of the nation’s peoples and their legitimate rights.

The statement said: “The timid and feeble reactions from some Arab regimes are ineffective and disregarded by America and the Zionist enemy, placing the peoples before a direct responsibility to confront the looming dangers.”

It added that “the criminal attacks on Lebanon, Gaza, and the West Bank, the repeated violations of Al-Aqsa Mosque, the incursions into Syria, and the threats against Iran necessitate a unified Islamic stance and a high level of readiness to confront these conspiracies.”

The League affirmed that “the ambitions of the leaders of disbelief will not be thwarted, nor will their power be broken, except through combat preparation, jihadist action, a high level of readiness for sacrifice, and the mobilization of the people through faith and jihad.” It stressed that a serious return to the Holy Quran and its companions, and following the beacons of guidance, is the path to liberating the nation from shame, humiliation, and degradation, and to ridding itself of the consequences of Western hegemony.

The statement indicated that “the responsibility of the people begins with declaring their disavowal of America and Israel, boycotting their goods, and educating themselves with the culture of the Quran, especially as we are in the month of the Quran and jihad, as a practical step to confront hegemony and defend the land and dignity.”

The League concluded its statement by emphasizing that the nation will not wait for the regimes to submit, and that the steadfastness, unity, and readiness of the people will be the only barrier against imperialist and Zionist projects, and that defending Islamic rights and dignity is a collective responsibility that cannot be relinquished.
