50,000 Palestinians perform Isha & Taraweeh prayers at Al-Aqsa Mosque

Around 50,000 Palestinians performed the Isha and Taraweeh prayers on Monday evening at Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Al-Quds Governorate, in a brief statement, said that 50,000 worshippers gathered in the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque to perform the Isha and Taraweeh prayers despite the restrictions and tight measures imposed by Israeli forces on worshippers’ access to the Mosque, according to the Palestinian News Agency WAFA.

It is worth noting that Israeli forces have intensified their military measures in the city of Jerusalem and its surroundings, as well as at the gates of Al-Aqsa Mosque, to prevent worshippers from reaching it. In recent days, they have also issued more than 300 expulsion orders barring Jerusalem residents from entering Al-Aqsa Mosque during the month of Ramadan.
