Egyptian thinker: War could begin within hours; preparations underway in four countries, including Yemen; surprises that could reshape the Middle East.
Egyptian thinker and researcher Sameh Askar stated that war with Iran is imminent following the failure of the third round of negotiations in Geneva today. This failure stemmed from America’s insistence on its conditions: (no nuclear program, whether military or civilian; no missiles; no resistance).
He indicated that Iran offered Trump some economic incentives in exchange for freezing enrichment, aiming to separate it from the control of Netanyahu and the Zionist religious right, but these incentives failed.
He added that America wants a return to the era of colonialism, exploiting its military might to impose its will, just as Spain and Portugal did in the 16th and 17th centuries, and then Britain and France in the 19th and 20th centuries. The evangelical right is pushing in this direction.
Sameh Askar pointed out that Israel misled Trump into believing that Iran was weak, and therefore any military or political pressure would lead to its surrender. However, this did not happen, and it ignited tensions in America. Numerous objections emerged, demonstrating that Trump’s assessment of Iran from the outset was flawed. Therefore, Trump was perplexed as to why Iran hadn’t surrendered.
He emphasized that Russia and China have a golden opportunity to break the United States and completely deter it from even considering war for decades to come, just as the Soviet Union and China previously broke America in Vietnam, leading to America’s avoidance of all-out wars for 30 years until 2001.
Regarding Iran’s preparations for battle, Askar explained that Iran has certainly done the following since last June: 1- Eliminated Israeli spies (the biggest secret behind the assassinations), most recently yesterday with the elimination of dozens of spies from the People’s Mujahedin Organization of Iran (MEK) who were working for Israel. 2- Closed gaps in its air defenses (more robust, diverse, and effective air defense systems were imported and distributed, with China contributing significantly). 3- Is now cooperating with China on intelligence matters (some news reports indicate that Chinese satellites will provide Iran with early warning systems for the takeoff of American stealth aircraft). 4- Rebuilt its missile production system at a higher intensity, using the new, more effective, and advanced generation, some of which were demonstrated in the 12-day war. 5- Completely neutralized Arab states and, in turn, threatened to strike any country from which American aircraft take off. 6- It might launch a preemptive strike if it receives confirmed reports of an impending war. 7- It has successfully maintained its nuclear arsenal, represented by approximately 10,000 kg of uranium enriched to 60%. 8- It has successfully operated its reactors at the same previous capacity and restarted its centrifuges to produce more uranium (this proves America’s claim of destroying its reactors last June was a lie). 9- International media outlets are experiencing uncertainty due to Trump’s unilateral decision to go to war, influenced by Netanyahu. This is unprecedented in the Western world: a single individual in Tel Aviv determining the fate of Western civilization. 10- Iran has succeeded in fracturing the American ranks by agreeing to negotiate until the last moment, thus encouraging peace advocates. Consequently, the Republicans will bear the responsibility for the anticipated failure of the war. 11- There are indications that Iran is beginning to use its naval fleet for the first time, which foreshadows widespread naval confrontations in the Gulf, including the Strait of Hormuz.
Egyptian researcher Sameh Askar asserted that war could begin within hours of the first day, with surprises expected from all sides. Reports continue to emerge of preparations in Yemen, Lebanon, and Iraq for large-scale confrontations, exploiting the anticipated weakness of the Israeli entity due to Iranian involvement and the strain on its air defenses. He indicated that Israel might commit grave errors if it senses its impending internal collapse should the war drag on and fail to achieve its objectives. These errors could include attacks on Egyptian, Syrian, and Jordanian sovereignty.
He pointed out that al-Julani in Syria is signaling his willingness to ally with America and Israel against the Resistance Axis in exchange for not assassinating him, al-Qaeda remaining in power, and the Druze and Kurds not gaining independence.
He concluded his tweet on the X platform by emphasizing that the region is tense, and victory will belong to the most prepared and vengeful, while defeat will befall the most overconfident and reckless. He asserted that surprises are likely, perhaps even redrawing the map of the Middle East. Among these possibilities is a strong comeback by the Resistance Axis if it succeeds in absorbing the attack and begins to strike the Israeli and American enemy with greater ferocity and precision than before.
