The Leader of the Revolution Offers Condolences to the Nation on the Martyrdom of Sayyid Khamenei and Affirms: His Blood Will Strengthen the Path of Resistance
The Leader of the Revolution, Sayyid Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, offered his deepest condolences and heartfelt sympathy on the martyrdom of the eminent scholar and mujahid leader, Sayyid Ali Khamenei.
In a speech this evening, the Leader said, regarding the martyrdom of Sayyid Khamenei: “The Islamic Republic of Iran has announced the martyrdom of the esteemed scholar, the Supreme Leader and Imam of the Islamic Revolution, the great mujahid leader, the blessed martyr Sayyid Ali al-Husseini Khamenei – may God be pleased with him – who was assassinated by the enemies of Islam and Muslims, the criminal, arrogant, and criminal tyrants of our time, the Americans and Israelis, in their treacherous aggression against the Muslim Iranian people.”
He expressed his condolences to the family of Ayatollah Khamenei, the Muslim people of Iran, all its official institutions, the valiant Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, and the entire Muslim Ummah.
The Assassination of Ayatollah Khamenei: A Crime Against the Muslim Ummah
The Supreme Leader pointed out that the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution in Iran was a staunch opponent of Zionist hegemony and control, a supporter of the Palestinian cause, and a defender of the peoples of the region. He emphasized that the aggression against Iran aims to enable the Israeli enemy to dominate the region and remove the greatest obstacle to achieving this goal.
He explained that the enemy is working to eliminate Iran with its Islamic system, its revolutionary and liberationist orientation, its rejection of Zionist hegemony, its support for the Palestinian cause, and its solidarity with the peoples of the region.
A Great Loss for the Muslim World
The Supreme Leader affirmed that the martyrdom of Ayatollah Khamenei represents a true loss for the Muslim world. He stressed that the American and Israeli enemies committed this heinous crime to eliminate Ayatollah Khamenei’s significant role in confronting their tyranny and thwarting their conspiracies.
He said: “Targeting Mr. Khamenei aims to eliminate his leadership, which is committed to just causes and the legitimate rights of our Islamic nation, foremost among them the Palestinian cause.” He pointed out that this targeting aims to break the will of the Iranian people and their official institutions and crush their morale.
An Attempt to Break the Will of the Iranian People
The Leader explained that the assassination of Mr. Khamenei was part of Zionist-American objectives aimed at breaking the will of the Iranian people and their official institutions, crushing their morale, and exploiting this to subjugate the regimes and governments of the region and force them into submission and surrender under Zionist hegemony.
A Call for Steadfastness and Continuing the Path of Liberation
The Leader added: “The duty of the Muslim Iranian people, their brave and valiant Revolutionary Guard, and their official institutions is to remain loyal to the pure blood of Mr. Khamenei and steadfast on the path of freedom, dignity, and defiance. The duty is for the martyrdom of this great Islamic symbol of struggle to be a powerful incentive to continue the path with Husseini defiance, unwavering faith, and Khomeini resolve.”
He stated that this is a moment of steadfastness, loyalty, patience, and perseverance, emphasizing that the blood and sacrifices of these divinely guided leaders immortalize the path of jihad and liberation, and revive the spirit of sacrifice and determination within the nation.
Sacrifices are the Path to Victory
The Leader continued: “From the very beginning, Iran, with its Islamic Revolution, has embarked on the path of sacrifice and liberation, remaining steadfast in the face of all storms and difficulties. The enemies’ disappointment will be evident in the failure of their objectives in committing this crime, thanks to the resilience of the Iranian people and their official institutions, and their unwavering commitment to the path of liberation and jihad.”
He reiterated that the choice of the peoples of the Islamic nation is to confront American and Israeli tyranny, and that these pure sacrifices should inspire them to steadfastness, perseverance, and determination. Because the choices are between the nation submitting and surrendering to American-Israeli tyranny, losing its freedom, dignity, honor, religion, worldly life, and hereafter, and relying on God, trusting in Him and His true promise, confronting tyranny, and making sacrifices for the sake of God Almighty and in service of its sacred causes, to achieve the victory promised by God, the Exalted.
The demise of the Zionist entity is a divine inevitability.
The Leader affirmed that Zionist and American aggression will not perpetuate the promised entity; its demise is inevitable, as stated in the holy books, the Torah, and the Quran. The end of tyranny is inevitable, as stated in the Almighty’s words: “And if you return, We will return.”
The Iranian position is firm and the response is ongoing.
The Supreme Leader stressed to the peoples of the Islamic nation to trust in God and increase their sacrifices with determination and steadfastness, affirming: “The Iranian position is cohesive and firm, the Iranian response is strong and ongoing, and the Iranian people, the axis of resistance and jihad, and the free people of the world are loyal to the great and pure sacrifices in remaining steadfast on the path of liberation and the right position, and the ultimate victory belongs to the righteous.”
