Gaza Bleeds and Al-Aqsa Closed: Escalation Continues and Crimes Relentlessly Pursued

Amidst a relentless Zionist escalation, Gaza is at the forefront of humanitarian suffering as the aggression continues. The circle of violations is widening, now encompassing Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem and the West Bank, which is witnessing escalating waves of repression and displacement. This is all part of a comprehensive aggression targeting the Palestinian people wherever they reside.

Continuous Bleeding and Shocking Figures
The crimes of the Zionist enemy in the Gaza Strip have continued, resulting in a catastrophic humanitarian toll. The Ministry of Health announced that the number of martyrs since the start of the aggression on October 7, 2023, has risen to over 72,000, in addition to approximately 172,000 wounded, in one of the greatest humanitarian tragedies of our time.

Despite the ceasefire declaration, the attacks have not ceased. Official sources have recorded more than two thousand violations of the agreement, ranging from direct shelling and gunfire to incursions and the demolition of homes. These violations have resulted in hundreds of martyrs and wounded, the majority of whom are civilians.

Many victims remain trapped under the rubble, as rescue teams are unable to reach them. The humanitarian crisis is worsening due to severe restrictions on aid deliveries and shortages of fuel and medical supplies.

Al-Aqsa Under Siege
In occupied Jerusalem, the Israeli occupation continues to close the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound for the nineteenth consecutive day, preventing prayers from being held there. This escalation aims to impose a new reality at the holy site.

These measures have been accompanied by repeated attacks on worshippers in the vicinity of the Old City. Israeli forces have fired tear gas and stun grenades, chased worshippers, and assaulted them in an attempt to prevent any gatherings for prayer near Al-Aqsa.

Palestinian authorities warn that these measures are part of a systematic Judaization plan aimed at altering the religious, historical, and legal status of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, with the support of extremist settler groups.

The Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, also affirmed that the continued closure of Al-Aqsa constitutes a systematic attack on freedom of worship and an attempt to impose a dangerous Judaization reality. Hamas called for urgent action to stop these violations.

Escalating Displacement and Arrests

In the West Bank, the Zionist enemy’s policies of repression and displacement continue. Data indicates that more than 36,000 Palestinians were displaced in a single year, as part of a policy aimed at emptying the land of its original inhabitants.

Arrest campaigns have also escalated, targeting women from the families of prisoners and martyrs, indicating a widening scope of targeting to include various segments of Palestinian society.

Observers believe that these measures are part of a comprehensive plan to reshape the demographic reality in the West Bank through forced displacement and continuous oppression.

Comprehensive Aggression and Continued Steadfastness

What is happening in Gaza, Jerusalem, and the West Bank reflects the nature of the comprehensive Zionist aggression, which targets the Palestinian people, their land, and their holy sites, in an attempt to impose new realities by force.

In contrast, the Palestinian people continue their steadfastness despite the harsh conditions, clinging to their rights and principles in the face of policies of killing, siege, and displacement.
