On the anniversary of the slogan, the leader affirms: A Quranic project confronts arrogance, breaks the cycle of subservience, and restores the nation’s awareness and responsibility.

In a speech commemorating the anniversary of the slogan against the arrogant powers, the leader, Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, affirmed that this occasion represents a pivotal moment of faith and awareness in the nation’s journey, and a living embodiment of the authentic Quranic stance against the forces of tyranny and arrogance.

The leader of the revolution explained that the slogan against the arrogant powers was proclaimed by the martyr of the Quran, Sayyid Hussein Badr al-Din al-Houthi, may God be pleased with him, on the 4th of Dhu al-Qi’dah, 1422 AH (January 17, 2002 CE), from the Imam al-Hadi School in Marran, Sa’dah Governorate. It marked the beginning of a comprehensive Quranic project and a qualitative shift in the nation’s reality, moving it from a state of stagnation and subservience to one of righteousness.

He pointed out that the anniversary of the cry is not merely a passing occasion, but rather a significant milestone for raising awareness, recalling faith-based values, and commemorating the cry for truth raised against global tyranny during one of the most perilous periods in history. This period witnessed a surge in the onslaught of disbelief and oppression, employing immense resources and deceptive tactics unprecedented in human history.

The Leader explained that the American-Zionist aggression against the Muslim world at the dawn of the third millennium reached an advanced stage of danger, relying on misleading pretexts such as “changing the Middle East” and “combating terrorism,” which were used as justifications for targeting and dominating the Muslim world.

He noted that this aggression was met with a regrettable state of apathy within the Muslim world, manifested in the haste of many regimes and governments to declare their allegiance and submission to the enemies. He considered this path a dangerous deviation and a retreat from the principles and values ​​of Islam, directly contributing to the enemies’ ability to dominate the Muslim world.

The Leader emphasized that the correct stance required a general mobilization and jihad in the path of God, along with responsible action in various fields to confront these challenges. However, this stance remained limited to the steadfast free people of the nation, due to the pervasive spirit of defeatism and despair among some.

He affirmed that the cry against the arrogant powers came as a practical embodiment of Quranic directives and a decisive rejection of submission and surrender. He explained that it represents a clear declaration of position in the face of the enemies and contributes to moving the nation towards a state of awareness and responsible action.

He clarified that the cry represents the essence of the Quranic project and a comprehensive culture that seeks to expose the enemies’ schemes and reveal the false pretenses they use to justify their aggression. It also reinforces in the collective consciousness the meanings of glorifying and exalting God, and it rejects all forms of submission to the forces of arrogance.

He added that the slogan’s content, particularly its stance on America and Israel, expresses the necessary position in confronting an enemy seeking to destroy the nation, undermine its religion, and enslave it. He pointed to the pivotal role of the Zionist movement in leading the project of hostility and corruption worldwide.

The leader emphasized that the slogan reinforces a fundamental truth: that victory belongs to Islam, and that this religion is destined to prevail. This places upon the nation the responsibility to adhere to its principles and act within the framework of its Quranic project to confront challenges and reclaim its civilizational role.
