Commander of Khatam al-Anbiya Headquarters: Tehran Ready for Decisive Response to Any Violation
The commander of Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, Major General Ali Abdollahi, affirmed on Tuesday that the Iranian armed forces are “prepared to respond decisively to any enemy violation of agreements.”
In a statement commemorating the anniversary of the founding of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), Major General Abdollahi said, “The brave Iranian armed forces are ready to deliver decisive, immediate, and effective responses to the enemy’s threats and attacks.”
He indicated that the Iranian armed forces’ field superiority will thwart US President Donald Trump’s illusions and misleading narratives regarding the situation on the ground, emphasizing their absolute competence in managing and controlling the Strait of Hormuz despite the current state of military silence. He concluded by stating that “Tehran will respond appropriately to any violation of agreements.”
The IRGC Navy’s public relations office had announced on Saturday the closure of the Strait of Hormuz until the lifting of the blockade imposed by the criminal US President Donald Trump on Iranian ports.
A two-week ceasefire brokered by Pakistan between Iran and the United States has been in place since April 8, 2026, but Iran insists that its finger is on the trigger.
