Hezbollah thwarts bets on “peace with the enemy” and plunges the occupation army into a quagmire of attrition.

In a scene that reveals the depth of the Zionist predicament and the collapse of the bets of the American administration and its allies in the region, the confrontation on the southern Lebanese front is escalating at an unprecedented pace, with the Islamic resistance in Lebanon, led by Hezbollah, continuing to impose field deterrence equations and thwarting the occupation’s attempts to impose new political and security realities under the cover of “calming down” and international pressure.

While the Israeli enemy continues its brutal aggression against the southern villages and towns, targeting civilians, ambulance crews and infrastructure, the Islamic Resistance affirms its active operational presence through a series of continuous qualitative operations that have turned the northern settlements and military occupation sites into open fields of attrition, and have once again shattered the illusions of Zionist superiority and its ability to impose its will by force.

In parallel, Hezbollah adopted a firm political stance on the forty-third anniversary of the ill-fated May 17 agreement, warning of the danger of some Lebanese official bodies sliding towards deviant options that align with the American-Zionist project, through talk of “comprehensive peace” agreements with the occupying entity, in a scene that brings to mind the attempts to impose guardianship and normalization that the resistance and the Lebanese people have rejected for decades.

Hezbollah: No peace with an enemy that occupies the land and kills Lebanese people
In a strongly worded statement on the anniversary of the humiliating and shameful agreement of May 17, 1983, Hezbollah stressed that the Lebanese authorities are required to stop the series of gratuitous concessions and abandon the illusions of the possibility of reaching peace with the Zionist enemy, which continues to occupy Lebanese lands, violate airspace and waters, and commit assassinations and crimes against civilians.

The party stressed that the political projects being proposed today, which are even more dangerous than the May 17 agreement, represent a serious deviation from national and constitutional principles, and a denial of the sacrifices of the Lebanese people and the resistance that achieved liberation and thwarted the occupation projects.

The statement warned that accepting direct negotiations with the enemy would only grant the occupation more gains at the expense of Lebanon and its sovereignty, noting that the path taken by the authority since the temporary ceasefire agreement has brought Lebanon nothing but more aggression, pressure and concessions.

Hezbollah explained that the occupation continues to escalate its attacks despite all attempts at de-escalation, in a new confirmation of the nature of this entity, which is based on aggression, greed and expansion, and not on respecting agreements or commitments.

The party also reiterated its complete rejection of any American tutelage or dictates aimed at imposing a political and security course that infringes upon Lebanon’s sovereignty and national dignity, stressing that the resistance will remain the true guarantee for protecting Lebanon and preventing the occupation from establishing any permanent presence on Lebanese soil.

“Eaten Straw”: High-quality operations that confound the occupation and deplete its forces.
On the ground, the Islamic Resistance continued its intensive military operations within the “Eaten Straw” battle, in response to the Zionist violations of the ceasefire agreement and the targeting of civilians in southern Lebanon.

During the past few hours, the resistance carried out a series of qualitative operations targeting gatherings, vehicles and sites of the occupation army in multiple axes in southern Lebanon, using dive drones, artillery shells and rocket salvos with high accuracy.

The resistance announced that it targeted gatherings of occupation soldiers and vehicles near Naqoura, Rashaf, Hadatha, Khiam and Taybeh, in addition to striking the “Kiryat Shmona” barracks and the newly established “Balat” site, as well as destroying “Hummer” and “Namera” military vehicles and directly hitting military bulldozers.

The nature of the operations carried out in recent days confirms that the resistance has moved to a more complex level in managing the engagement, by intensifying the use of swarms of attack drones and expanding the target bank to include command centers, military buildups, and engineering vehicles that the occupation relies on in its attempts to infiltrate and destroy border villages.

According to observers, the resistance succeeded in engineering an active defense based on complex ambushes and gradual att
