From Sana’a to Hodeidah… May 25th, a bloody day documenting the crimes of aggression
May 25th represents one of the bloodiest days in the record of the American-Saudi-Emirati aggression against Yemen, as this date witnessed a series of raids, bombings and targeting of residential neighborhoods, citizens’ homes, service facilities and diplomatic mission headquarters in a number of governorates, leaving dozens of martyrs and wounded and widespread damage to public and private property.
The events of this day reveal the extent of the military escalation carried out by the aggression and its mercenaries through air raids, artillery and missile shelling, and direct targeting of civilian areas in various Yemeni governorates.
2015 AD.. Targeting of neighborhoods and facilities
On May 25, 2015, five citizens were injured in two air raids by the aggression aircraft on the Hadda neighborhood in the Al-Sabeen district of the capital, which also resulted in varying damage to a number of diplomatic mission headquarters, homes, shops, the Yemen Today building and Yemen FM radio.
The aggression aircraft launched several raids on the Al-Arish and Ja’oula areas in Aden Governorate, four raids on the Balah area in Lahj Governorate, seven raids on the Dhahyan area and five raids on Rawdat Al-Shuhada in the Al-Marazem area in Saada Governorate.
Saudi enemy artillery shelling targeted the customs building in Haradh district in Hajjah governorate.
2016 AD.. Massacres against families
On May 25, 2016, citizen Jamil Ahmed Hayash Al-Subaihi and ten members of his family were martyred, and a young girl survived, as a result of the aggression aircraft targeting his house with four raids in the Al-Mahalla area of Lahj Governorate.
Six citizens were killed and eight others were injured in an air raid by the aggression aircraft on the Sanouma area in the Harib Al-Qaramish district of Marib Governorate. A woman was seriously injured as a result of an air raid on a house in Harib.
In the same province, the air force launched three raids targeting bulldozers and loaders belonging to citizens in the stone quarries of Jabal Hilan in the Sarwah district, while the mercenaries shelled various areas in Sarwah.
The mercenaries of the aggression targeted Al-Ghayl district with missiles, and the homes of citizens in Al-Matun district in Al-Jawf governorate with artillery, and the areas of Mabda’ah, Bani Bariq and Malh in Nihm district in Sana’a governorate with machine guns and rocket fire.
In Taiz Governorate, the mercenaries of the aggression shelled the Al-Qashouba and Al-Ghawi areas in Al-Waziyah district, the Al-Amri mountain range, Al-Amri schools and the city of Dhubab with artillery. They also targeted with artillery the location of the truce committee while it was trying to bring humanitarian aid into the city of Taiz.
The enemy aircraft dropped sound bombs in the sky of Harf Sufyan district in Amran governorate.
2017 AD.. Raids on border provinces
On May 25, 2017, a woman and two men were injured and a number of livestock were killed as a result of an enemy air raid targeting a citizen’s house in the Al-Shawariq area of Razih district in Saada governorate.
The aggression aircraft launched four raids on separate areas in Shada district, four raids on Wadi Al-Imara, one raid on Al-Hajar area in Kataf district, six raids on Al-Malahiz area in Al-Dhaher district, and one raid on Al-Thu’ban area in Baqim district.
In the same province, the air force launched two raids on the Takhya area in the Majz district, and three raids on the Al-Fara’ area in the Kataf district, coinciding with artillery shelling of the area.
The aggression aircraft launched ten raids on the areas of Al-Makhdara, Al-Rabia, Al-Mashjah, the airport and Sarwah market in Sarwah district in Marib governorate, causing damage to citizens’ homes and farms.
The enemy aircraft also launched a raid on the Wadi Dhahr area in Hamdan district in Sana’a governorate, six raids on Haradh and Midi districts in Hajjah governorate, a raid on Jabal Tuwailiq in Jizan, and targeted Al-Luhayyah district in Al-Hudaydah governorate with four raids, including two raids on the communications network.
2018 AD.. Targeting roads and farms
On May 25, 2018, a citizen was killed and another was wounded as a result of an air raid by the aggression aircraft on a citizen’s house in the Al-Barah area of Maqbana district in Taiz Governorate.
Citizens were also killed and wounded by the fire of the aggression’s mercenaries in Bir Basha market and in Al-Dar neighborhood in Taiz city.
Two citizens were killed as a result of an air raid launched by the aggression aircraft on the public road in Zabid district in Al-Hudaydah governorate. A citizen’s bulldozer was also targeted in an air raid in the Al-Zarbiyah area of the same district.
