“Operation Protective Edge” escalates… The Lebanese resistance rains down dozens of qualitative strikes on Israeli enemy positions, deepening its attrition along the southern front.

The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon continues to establish the equations of confrontation with the Zionist enemy along the southern front, through a series of qualitative and successive operations targeting gatherings of soldiers, vehicles, military sites and field movements of the occupation forces, in response to the continued Israeli violations of the ceasefire and the repeated attacks on Lebanese villages and towns.

Within a few hours, the resistance carried out one of the widest waves of targeting against the occupation forces in southern Lebanon, which included well-planned ambushes, missile and artillery strikes, and drone attacks, in addition to confronting enemy drones, reflecting the high level of readiness, intelligence accuracy, and ability to keep up with the enemy’s movements and target them in a timely manner.

Al-Ghandouriya ambush: A surprise attack on an advancing force
In one of its most notable field operations, the Islamic Resistance announced that it had carried out a well-executed ambush against a Zionist force that attempted to advance towards the eastern outskirts of the town of Ghandouriya in southern Lebanon.

According to the resistance statement, the ambush came after a precise monitoring operation of the enemy force’s movements, and a number of explosive devices were detonated as soon as they reached the target point, resulting in confirmed casualties among their ranks.

The operation demonstrated the extent of the precise field monitoring of the occupation’s movements, as the enemy army was forced to carry out an urgent evacuation of the wounded under heavy smoke cover, before launching artillery shelling and raids on the area’s perimeter in an attempt to cover up its losses.

This operation is of particular importance because it confirms the continued ability of the resistance to carry out direct engagement operations and ambush invading forces, despite the strict security and military measures adopted by the occupation army.

Beaufort Castle: A continuous drain on the occupying forces
The area surrounding the historic Beaufort Castle has emerged in recent hours as one of the most prominent battlegrounds between the resistance and the occupation forces, as it has been subjected to a wide range of concentrated strikes.

The resistance targeted gatherings of occupation soldiers and vehicles in the area with several qualitative missile salvos, and also bombarded them with heavy missiles and artillery, before expanding the circle of targeting by using attack drones.

The operations included targeting a Merkava tank with a guided missile, which led to its destruction, in addition to targeting another tank with a dive drone and achieving a direct hit on it.

The resistance also targeted an Israeli enemy force positioned inside one of the buildings surrounding the fortress using a drone, confirming a direct hit, in addition to targeting additional gatherings of soldiers with artillery shells and rocket salvos.

The operations did not stop there, as the resistance launched an attack with a swarm of attack drones on a gathering of vehicles and soldiers in the vicinity of the castle, making the area one of the most targeted points of the occupation’s deployment in the past few hours.

Zawtar al-Sharqiya: Continuous gunfire and direct clashes
The southeastern outskirts of the town of Zawtar al-Sharqiya witnessed a notable escalation in military operations, as occupation gatherings were subjected to a successive series of rocket barrages that targeted the positions of soldiers and vehicles at more than one time.

The resistance announced the implementation of several successive operations targeting the area during the night, dawn and morning hours, indicating the adoption of a policy of continuous attrition and preventing the occupation forces from establishing their positions or moving freely.

Simultaneously with these operations, enemy media revealed a direct clash between a force belonging to the “Givati” Brigade and resistance fighters in the vicinity of the town, which resulted in a Zionist officer being seriously wounded and a company commander being wounded, in an additional indication of the escalating human losses suffered by the occupation in the field confrontations.

Simultaneous attacks across the southern front
The resistance operations were not limited to one area, but extended along the southern Lebanese front, where occupation gatherings and vehicles were targeted in Wadi al-Hujair, and the outskirts of the towns of Hadatha, Qantara, Rashaf, Yuhmur al-Sha
