June 11th… A memory burdened with blood and destruction reveals the targeting of humanity and the foundations of life in Yemen by the American-Saudi-Emirati aggression.

June 11th is one of the days that holds in the Yemeni memory painful scenes of the crimes of the American-Saudi-Emirati aggression, as the documented facts during this day and throughout the years of the war reveal the extent of the systematic targeting of civilians, infrastructure, service facilities, water sources and basic necessities of life.

Between airstrikes targeting water wells, homes, schools, roads, institutes and economic facilities, and artillery and missile shelling that hit villages and residential areas, evidence is renewed of the suffering of Yemenis who have always been in the crosshairs of the war machine and destruction.

2015 AD.. Targeting of life sources and civilian facilities in Saada and Al-Jawf
On June 11, 2015, the aggression aircraft committed one of the crimes that directly targeted the sources of life and basic services for citizens, as nine citizens, including seven women, were martyred as a result of a raid that targeted a water well in the Al-Qadam area of ​​Haydan district in Saada governorate, in a crime that embodied the direct targeting of the service infrastructure and the basic needs of the population.

In the same district, an elderly woman was killed and a citizen was injured as a result of two raids that targeted three houses in the Maran area, while the circle of targeting expanded to include a water tank, Al-Nasser Al-Atroush School, Jabal Ras Issa, Al-Jamimah area in Maran, Jabal Al-Miftah in Haydan, in addition to the house of a citizen in the Baqim district.

In Al-Jawf Governorate, two citizens were killed as a result of raids targeting Al-Ghayl District. The building of the Economic Corporation branch in Al-Hazm city was also bombed, which led to damage to the facility and to the buildings of Al-Hazm General Hospital and the Telecommunications Corporation branch, in a targeting that affected vital service and economic sectors.

2016 AD.. Cluster bombs claim victims and target water wells
On June 11, 2016, crimes against civilians continued through various means and methods, as one citizen was killed and five others, including women and children, were injured as a result of the explosion of a cluster bomb left over from the aggression in the Al-Hanisha area of ​​Taiz Governorate. This crime was added to a long record of victims of prohibited munitions that continued to threaten the lives of civilians even after the bombing ended.

In Taiz Governorate, the Al-Dharba residential neighborhood, the city of Dhubab, and the Al-Shabaka and Al-Ghawi areas in Al-Wazi’iyah district were also subjected to intense artillery shelling by the mercenaries of the aggression.

In Marib, a citizen was injured in an airstrike that targeted his farm in Harib Al-Qaramish district, while Sarwah district was subjected to continuous artillery shelling.

In Al-Jawf Governorate, mercenaries targeted a water well in Al-Matun District, and they also shelled citizens’ homes, resulting in two houses being burned, in a clear continuation of targeting water sources and the foundations of civilian life.

2017 AD.. Raids on roads, farms and large areas of the governorates
June 11, 2017 witnessed a significant escalation of airstrikes targeting several Yemeni governorates.

In Marib Governorate, the aggression aircraft launched seven raids on the airport, Al-Rabia and Helan areas in Sarwah District, leaving widespread damage to citizens’ farms and properties, coinciding with the continuation of artillery shelling on areas of the district.

In Taiz Governorate, the raids targeted the Al-Naqil road in Al-Salw district and Jabal Al-Mun’im in the Al-Dhabab area, while Hajjah and Sa’dah governorates were subjected to a series of raids and continuous shelling, as the air force launched seven raids on Haradh and Midi districts, and the raids targeted various areas of Sa’dah Governorate.

2018 AD.. Kamaran Island under fire and a wide escalation on the west coast
On June 11, 2018, four citizens were killed and two others were injured as a result of an air raid by the aggression aircraft that targeted Kamaran Island in Al-Hudaydah Governorate, in one of the crimes that targeted the civilian population in the Yemeni islands.

In Saada province, a woman was injured and citizens’ homes were damaged as a result of Saudi missile and artillery shelling that targeted the border district of Razih, while aircraft launched a series of raids on various areas in the district.
