Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi congratulates Yemeni people, Islamic nation on new Hijri year
The Leader of the Revolution, Sayyed Abdul Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, extended congratulations to the Yemeni people, fighters stationed on the frontlines, and the broader Islamic nation on the occasion of the Islamic New Year 1448 AH.
In a statement issued Tuesday evening marking the anniversary of the Prophet’s Hijrah, he also congratulated the Islamic Republic of Iran — its leadership and people — on a major victory in confronting the tyrants of the era, namely America and Israel.
The leader affirmed Yemen’s continued readiness to respond to any escalation or developments initiated by the American enemy and the Israeli enemy targeting the region, seeking renewed isolation of Gaza, or affecting any front within the Axis of Jihad and Resistance and the countries of the region.
He called on regional actors to join the Axis of Jihad and Resistance and to free themselves from dependence on and submission to the enemies of Islam.
He also called for official and public cooperation inside Yemen to confront the comprehensive hostile targeting against the country, including occupation of Yemeni territory, control over national oil and gas resources, violations of sovereignty and independence, economic warfare and blockade, and support for armed groups.
He said these challenges require collective action aimed at ending aggression, occupation, and siege so that Yemen can achieve full independence, benefit from its resources, and attain development rooted in its religious identity.
Sayyid Abdul-Malik reaffirmed Yemen’s position toward the enemies of Islam and humanity — identified as Zionist Jews and their supporters in the West, led by America and Israel.
He asserted that they demonstrate hostility toward Islam through repeated offenses against the Qur’an, Prophet Muhammad, and Islamic sanctities, including Trump’s offense against Mecca.
The leader also called for pursuing Islamic revival, strengthening sources of power, and building a civilizational model based on adherence to the Qur’an and the example of Prophet Muhammad.
Sayyid Abdul Malik considered the beginning of the Hijri year as an opportunity to reassess priorities, value time, and strengthen responsibility and purposeful action.
The Leader added that Yemen is the land of faith and wisdom, remains positioned to continue carrying the banner of Islam and confronting the forces of modern arrogance led by America and Israel, citing regional conflicts and developments as evidence of an ongoing struggle.
